Poem Of Life

IT IS TIME…..IT IS TIME..said the fat old frog
I have cleaned this pond from top to toe, it is
no longer a smelly old bog.
                               
IT IS TIME…..IT IS TIME..said the old sheepdog,
I have guided and tendered my sheep for years,
I think I have done a good job.
                               
IT IS TIME … IT IS TIME..my turn has come.
Have I done enough according to some?
God knows I have  tried, but was it enough?
I have had my share of the good times and the rough.
But others have had worse and still battle on,
Indescribable hardships, poverty and hunger,
how do they cope without going under?
                               
IT IS TIME….IT IS TIME ..for each one of you,
Yes I mean YOU and You too,
Time to think hard on your actions of years past,
Have you ….done good deeds and have memories that will last?
                               
Every smile to a stranger, every laugh that you share,
Every hand offered to help.. Will show that you care.
                               
It's an ongoing thing, not just once in awhile,
It is not how much money you have ..or your hip style.
It is not how important YOU think you are…..
The humble, the poor can outweigh this by far.
                               
IT IS TIME….IT IS TIME……for EACH person to take STOCK..
To help others in need, to give consideration to the path that you choose,
Choose wisely my friends….for you must remember…you could Lose
GOD has his hand ….on YOUR life CLOCK.
