What have you done with the freedom we fought for?
All that time spent inside with my thoughts and my fears
Cut off from loved ones alone as I relived
The struggle, the dangers, endured down the years
The only excuse that I had for my actions
Was the love for my brothers that helped me go on
But now on reflection, was it all worth it
Forced to do things I regret that were wrong
You have trampled my sacrifice, turned it to dust
And you shattered the dream that we shared
Your corruption and greed is destroying our land
Let me cry on my own - I still care
And now as I get ready to leave
I place you in God's hands
I pray you will return to Him
And follow his commands |
