For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.

Under the Cross I stand,
For me His body brand.
Red, red blood run down,
On His head they put a crown.
Not of jewels and not of gold,
But of thorns o’er fold.

Under the Cross I stand,
I see the angels in their band.
In pain, they see their Lord,
His Blood for us He poured.
His body dies.  It is finished.
The demon’s praise unleashed.

In the tomb I stand,
Out in the barren land.
Satan and his demons were mistaken,
Christ, our Lord, will awaken!
