How faithful, how true, in the end there is only you…
the deepest longing, only you can satisfy
my deepest yearning echoes in your call...
Your deepest yearning for my love above all…
Through my darkness, your light won't be denied
Through the ages, your name be glorified
wrapped in your love my deepest fears dissipate,
healing flows, the author of love endures
sheltered in the warmth of your Holy Spirit... never depart
How faithful, how true, in the end there is only you…

Guide me through this life in your wisdom, your strength
hold me in your arms, never let me go,
when I am spent, when I am worn
when I am broken & torn...
my peace in you will not be disturbed
as the bird sleeps in the storm,
until the final amen, kept safe & warm
How faithful, how true, in the end there is only you…

The world fades in the glory of your grace,
refreshing rain floods my soul
to find solace in the light of your love,
I look upon your face, as you make me whole
there is healing in our reunion, there is grace all around
when I think I am lost, you gently show me I am found
How faithful, how true, in the end there is only you…
The love that never leaves me nor forsakes me
when the symphony ends & applause is no more
who will stand beside me, though there seems not one,
I look for you, you're always there, the author of love I adore…

On bended knee, seems not enough to honour thee
To repay the debt I owe, I know I am yours
We are one, your word says it is done
Your currency is love, paid by my Father above
How faithful, how true, in the end there is only you.
