Across the world people are turning to God and in South Africa there is once again another call: "SA, turn to God". At Loftus for Jesus in 2008, Christians showed that they can rise to the occasion. The time is now to unite in spirit in order for our whole country to turn to God!
A turn2God conference will be held on 6 March 2010 at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
Major revival movements in our country are joining forces to:
dedicate the keys of the South African government to God
pray for the president and cabinet of our country. Pres. Zuma and the cabinet are invited to attend the conference.
dedicate every family in SA to God - because healthy families lead to a healthy country.
Thousands of Christians are expected! They come from all races and religious denominations to pray with passion, to be spurred on by powerful speakers and to intercede for SA.
Angus Buchan (of Mighty Men fame) is arguably the best known Christian speaker in SA. This is his first major appearance in Pretoria since Loftus for Jesus, which was attended by 71 000 people.
Graham Power (Global Day of Prayer, Unashamedly Ethical) is probably SA's biggest international Christian figure. Ten years ago he presented the first day of prayer at Newlands and subsequently developed the biggest prayer movement in the world - annually millions of people are joined in prayer because of his vision. Graham is a dynamic speaker who knows how to turn a country to God.
Elza Meyer (Turn2God Foundation and Esther Conferences) is one of the most famous female reverends in our country. Thousands of women from across the country have attended her Esther conferences. The Esther conferences spawned the Daniel conferences which has also been reproduced in various other cities. Elza is the matriarch of the Turn2God movement and on 6 March she will explain everything!
Bennie Mostert (Jericho Walls) is an astute writer. He equips and mobilizes people to intercede for their nation.
Louis Brittz, Retief Burger, Joe Niemand, Soweto Gospel Choir and other invited artists will jointly present the praise and worship. The crowds will not only sing, they will roar... and bow low before God in prayer!
A Historic Event It has been 10 years since Graham Power initiated that Christians gathered at Newlands Rugby Stadium to intercede for our country. In that historic day, much was established for God’s Kingdom. The time has come for Christians to stand together again at the nation’s capital, as we intercede for our nation and its governance. Churches are encouraged to join in and everyone is welcome. Together we will proclaim the scripture: 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 “If my people, who are called by ma Name, shall humble themselves, confess their sins and turn from their wicked ways; then I shall hear from heaven and I shall heal their land.”
