Jesus is Lord!

What fun we have had compiling this issue - there is such a variety of interesting stories and people that we have featured. The Body of Christ is diverse and we are so privileged to have the opportunity of being exposed to all these people. We hope you enjoy reading about them and the events taking place. We are certainly living in challenging times.
We, as a team, have been re-looking at and studying the gifts of the Holy Spirit in our morning devotions in 1 Corinthians 12. We recognise that the magazine has influence and, therefore, it is very important that every one of us in this ministry operates within our area of gifting and in the power of the Holy Spirit, in order for this publication to be anointed. We have a responsibility to reflect Christ and Biblical values in all that we write and produce. Christian morals and values are being broken down daily in the secular media and evil and sinful behaviour is constantly promoted and even glamorised. We believe JOY! Magazine has been called for a time such as this, to be prophetic and to stand up for righteousness and justice. Errol has written an outstanding piece on The Language of Babylon and how it is infiltrating the Church today. We need to be vigilant and guard our hearts and mouths.
Be inspired by a wonderful testimony from a South African couple based on the Mercy Ship ‘Anastasias’ – an outstanding ministry serving a dying world. Read about the wonder of the human eye and be inspired by how God operates in and through people in business. We also have a delightful article titled Should Christians Retire? Write to us, tell us what you think. JOY! values senior citizens and if you are needing a job, or perhaps are looking to fill a position with a senior citizen, then why not let us know and we will try our best to fit these requests into a place in the magazine. It is our desire to be a blessing to our readers and if a service like this assists in any way, it could be a wonderful blessing. We are here to serve you, our valued readers.
Lastly to all our men, look out for Angus Buchan’s Mighty Men article. Angus is being obedient to the Lord and is operating with the gift of faith. Please support him.
We trust you will become so inspired by his vision that you will book right away. Don’t miss this conference.
God Bless
Erin
