The work of our hands

You are holding our bumper issue of JOY! and we hope you are going to enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed putting it together. We give all thanks to the Lord for establishing the work of our hands. Some of our readers may have wondered, possibly with frustration, why we don’t answer our phone in the mornings before 8.45am. Well it is because we have devotions and prayer every morning before we start the day. It is imperative that we seek the Lord first in everything so that we may call upon Him to bless JOY! and our efforts. There is such Apostasy, false doctrine and compromise going on in the Church today – (see Bishop Tutu’s latest comments on Page 27) that we dare not proceed with our task without seeking God first. It is vital we uphold our aim to provide interesting, accurate and honest reporting, but to also bear in mind that we fight the devil and not our brothers and sisters in Christ. Please pray for Bishop Tutu right now, that he may use his influence for Jesus and not be tempted to please the world.
Read our main feature story “23min in Hell” and allow it to motivate you to share the Gospel and the reality of the consequences of a life without Jesus. We do not receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour because we are frightened of going to hell but because we recognise we all face eternal life – the difference is where we will spend it. Jesus died for mankind; He took sin to the cross; became the sacrifice and paid the price, making a way for each one of us to enter into Heaven. To do this we must acknowledge and repent of our sins, recognise what Jesus did, and invite Him into our hearts. DON’T WAIT!
