Give Thanks

There is much excitement and joy in our offices as the fax machine keeps printing out more and more reply slips from those faithful servants of the Lord Jesus, responding to the call to assist the Zimbabwean pensioners. May the Lord bless every one who has taken the opportunity to serve. Know that He is using you as His hands and feet in this desperate situation.
I will be handing over all the slips to Hannes soon and he will contact you to acknowledge your gift of finances or offer of service or goods. There have been many deposits made directly into the bank account and for that we thank you too. We are also part of a enthusiastic team organising a fund raising tea and lunch for Hannes and, judging by the response thus far , we will be pleased to report in our next issue that Hannes has a bigger truck and hopefully will be able to operate his mercy ministry fulltime. This has truly been a testimony of THE CHURCH IN ACTION! “God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus”.Philippians 4:19
I also want to thank you for supporting our magazine sales through Woolworths stores in SA. Because of the excellent response and sales, we are being listed at more and more of their branches, Hallelujah! – all Praise to God. It is a huge battle to get shelf space in supermarkets and we welcome your ongoing prayers and support in this regard.
I still encourage you to take out subscriptions as one cannot always rely on the stores to have the magazines available, and when you miss one issue of JOY! you really miss out on a lot. When you subscribe or renew your subscription you save money on the cover price and you receive a free CD.
