Greetings and thank you for the ministry of Joy magazine. Over the years I have found some of your articles a blessing. We live in the age of information and have info comming at us from all over the place and i find that many Christians are extremely confused in their faith. Joy magazine is a relatively good magazine however if i look at Vol 18 Issue 11 i have some things that concern me. One letter speaks of the dress code of some woman in the church(A valid point) but in the same magazine in the article -Recognize the mate God has approved for you is a photo of a pretty woman but in a very sexy, revealing and tempting picture. Do we really need these pictures in Christian magazines. Another concern i have is that from the adverts in the magazine it would appear that Christianity is a multimillion business type of organization. Some of the stuf that is advertised is somewhat questionable to say the least. Another area of concern is that magazines are misleading many Christians. Joy is advertising  for some speakers who speak at conferences and some of these speakers have been shown to be false prophets, in that which they have prophesied has not come about. Surely there should be some sort of investigation as to who you are promoting and advertising for. The article on evolution also brings about confusion. The article supports the literal six day teaching then in the closing article by a pastor  it puts forth a rather liberal idea of evolution.

Regards

Tony
