But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Do Christians believe EVERY word of the Bible? Or do they believe (as a Priest friend of mine who runs three churches) that it is full of error and only people like him can interpret it correctly?
I have been watching some documentaries on TV that cast doubt on just about everything I have been taught about Jesus and the Bible. For example, Jonah and the whale and Noah's Ark. I feel frustrated about whether we need to believe everything in the Word of God or not.
When I speak to other Christians about sin or tele-evangelists misusing their position, I am told not to judge lest I be judged. But the Bible says that judgment begins in the house of God. What is the biblical response?
