“Also your people shall all be righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified. A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.” – Isaiah 60 v 21 – 22
God desires to be in charge of your process. In the womb, He planted you, fashioning your inwards parts and ordaining the time of your birth. Now, He desires not to step back, leaving you to your own devices. Rather, He yearns to mould you still further, directing your paths and shaping your destiny. You had no choice as to your conception and birth. Now, however, you may choose whether or not to accept His continued involvement. Do you desire for God to complete the good work He has begun in you, as we read in Philippians 1 v 6? Do you desire to be His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2 v 10)? I can assure you, dear reader, no workmanship could shine with greater brightness or beauty than those crafted by Him, ordained for His glory! Today, choose to submit, succumb and surrender wholly to Him. Allow Him to do in you and with you whatever He wishes. His choice is the best choice – guaranteed! Joyce Mapetla (52) experienced this first-hand at our Zamdela Gospel Crusade.
Yours in His service,
HER LIFE, HIS PROCESS
Her daughter having received a flyer at school promoting the upcoming In His Name crusade, Joyce Mapetla was eager to attend. “I knew Jesus would be there, at the crusade,” she said, “and I needed prayer.” Having accepted Christ as the Lord of her life in 2010, Joyce was desperate for a face-to-face encounter with Him, needing to be reminded of His power and supremacy. The night she attended, proved to be life-altering!
Having struggled with excruciating pains in her feet for the past two years, she battled to walk – so much so that she was unable to perform her daily tasks. “My feet were very painful,” she stated. “Whenever the pain came, I was unable to walk. I could not do anything, I could not even stand for long periods of time.”
During prayer for the sick, Joyce experienced the miracle-working power of God. “When I stood, all I could see was darkness around me. Then, I felt electricity moving through my body. Now, I am healed!” she explained. “I want to thank God because my life has changed.” Reassured that her life rests in His hands, Joyce returned home confident in the love her Saviour has for her – a love that never forsakes those He calls His own!
