“…having no hope and without God in the world.” – Ephesians 2:12
God is the source of true hope. It is He, and He alone, who is all-powerful, ever-able and forever willing to rescue and restore broken lives. While man can assist, man can also fail. Those who trust in man all too often encounter the words, “impossible”, “unrealistic” and “unattainable”. On the contrary, those who trust in God never encounter such terminology. They are able to hope in Him with all that they are, confidant in His perfect will, faultless timing and flawless love. They are able to lean on Him entirely, knowing that with Him, even eternity stands secure and steadfast. Today, hope in God. His provision can come through a variety of sources. With Him however, you can be sure of one thing – it will always come!
Emely Nhlapo from Zamdela experienced firsthand the faithfulness of Jesus. Enjoy reading her touching story below.
Yours in His service,
LORD, SAVIOUR AND PROTECTOR
Having heard about the upcoming In His Name Gospel Crusade in Zamdela, Sasolburg, Emely Nhlapo (49) made her way to the crusade grounds. Her faith stirred within, her heart desperate for a divine intervention.
Emely had suffered from diabetes for the past five years. She felt hopeless and afraid, anxiety her constant companion. Somehow, she knew that coming to the crusade would change her life. “I worried each and every day,” she explained. “I was worried that I would die and I was worried about what would happen to my children if I should not be there anymore.”
After being prayed for, Emely instantly felt better. “I am healed and I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord, Saviour and Protector,” she exclaimed. Her hope having been restored, this precious mother of four stands now steadfast in the love of her Saviour. “I am happy, I am healed and I am a child of God!”
